The connections between the driver and the breakout board(USB/Parallel)22-24 AWG wire is preference also going from the potentiometer going to LSPS(laser power supply) , now going from the power supply to the drivers/laser power supply 16-18 AWG wire is our preference.

I'm planning a rack and pinion style gantry, and need clarification on how to slave a second stepper to the Y (or X). Can you direct me to that information for your products?
There are two things to consider when using two stepping motors on a single axis. Since you want both motors to spin at the same rate and possibly in the same direction, you need to connect both motor drivers to the same breakout board pins. For example, if you want two motors on the x-axis and the x-axis pins on the breakout board are #2 for step and #3 for direction, the #2 will connect to the step (cp) terminal on each driver and the #3 will connect to the dir (cw) terminal on each driver.

However, if the motors will be opposing (one motor will need to spin in the other direction), you will need to consider either flipping the rack on one side, or adding a circuit to invert the direction (#3) signal going to that driver.

[575] How can I wire/ configure for a plasma cutter without THC? Plasma cutter has a cnc port, where when you short two of the pins, it activates the cutter. Just looking to see how to make that short when pressing f5 in Mach3.
The THC and the triggering of the plasma are actually two different functions of a controller. To trigger a plasma cutter, you can use one of the outputs of the Mach3 USB controller (out 1, 2, 3, or 4). That output can be connected to a relay that connects to the two wires that will trigger the plasma.

In the BlackTooth instruction the concluding sentence suggests connecting a wire from the right terminal of the pot to the VCC on the Laser Supply. There is no VCC on the power supply for the Laser that I can find. So, does this wire go to a different terminal on the power supply, or somewhere else where VCC exists, such as either stepper motor control?
VCC is the same as 5v. I will clarify on the instructions.

How do I order 3 specific lengths of lead screws in one order? I could only order a single total amount via the shopping process. I require 36", 60" and 14". If I order 110", I will get 79" + 31". Do I have to order 115" and pay for an extra 5" to get around this?

I own a custom rug shop where we design a fabricate custom floors of many types, Have you performed any type of testing using your 40 watt and or 80 watt laser for the cutting of thse textiles.
Yes, we have cut many fabrics with the laser. Or CO2 lasers can generally cut fabrics and textiles without a problem. What types of textiles (materials) do you need to use with the laser machine? Is there a layering of materials?

We would cut multiple heights of different carpets and even hard surfaces such as Vinyl composition tile, Luxury vinyl tile,etc. and I'm wanting to explore etching into plain color carpets using the laser.
I'm contemplating your 5' x 12' machine with the laser/spindle combo.
Is it possible to make a site visit to your location and see the capabilities of the equipment ?

Carpets are not a problem as long as there are no materials in the carpet or in the carpet binding layers that will off-gas toxic fumes. Check the manufacturer's materials of all of the parts of the carpet.

The vinyl should not be a problem, just make sure there is no material mixed within the composite that will off-gas harmful fumes such as chloride. The chloride will mix with the hydrogen in the air and form HCL (hydrochloric acid) which can be harmful if inhaled, but can also affect some of the metallic parts in the machine.

We have cut vinyl with the laser with great results.

What electronics do you have at the moment? Depending on your machine, you will need a minimum of 3 stepper motors and 3 drivers (unless your heavy axis requires two stepper motors and two drivers). You will also need an interface board that is capable of providing three inputs for the THC (Torch Height Controller), THC on, THC up and THC down, and outputs for firing the torch. I would recommend the Pokeys57CNC interface for the primary interface. This interface will connect to the stepper motor drivers and the THC. The Pokeys57CNC can also communicate via USB or Ethernet.

We double box our tubes. The inside box contains the tube that is surrounded by foam. This inner box is wrapped with bubble wrap and then boxed again.

Carriers are not very careful with packages, but it is not typically from personnel handling, but the machines and conveyors that maneuver the boxes at their distribution centers.
