The HTH Media Arts Engineering
is not only a great resource for innovative projects, a great educational instution
for technology and creative thinking, but they purchased my blackTo 4'x8' CNC Machine
Kit. The projects that these students complete range from rapid prototyping machines
to job specific robitics. The students have done an impressive job with this machine.
The breadth of projects that the students are working on is quite incredible and
I urge anyone to go take a look at their website. The school purchased the CNC Machine
kit as a students project, but also to serve as a workhorse and resource for students
for their project needs.
The first videos is noteworthy in respect to the way they are cooling the drivers.
They are using two fans per driver. Whether it is needed or not, the setup is very
organized and they will be assured that this system will never overheat.
With this exceptional organization of the drivers and wiring, you will also notice
the wiring around the machine, which, like most of my customers, are attaching it
to the gantry in a similar fashion. I am very eager to see the final completion
of the machine and how they apply the machine to different projects.
