Introduction:

A 20mm lens and final mirror needs to be mounted in this part. The lens mounts in the tapered (conical) section of this part. Notice the component showing partly blue. This is the air assist tube inlet fitting.

Description:

The air is pumped into the conical section of the nozzle and creates a positive air pressure inside this area and doesn't let particles (smoke and dust) near the lens. The air assist will also mitigate flare-ups and if strong enough, can clean the area that is being marked by the laser. This product includes the Nozzle Tube Fitting for Air Assist.
