If you are referring to the polabs website that presents in another language, on that site, there is a button on the top right that says "options" with a down arrow. Click that and click turn off translation.

When the machine hits the limits it stops but the switch is still tripped so clicking the Mach3 RESET button doesn't do anything. How am I supposed to get the machine to move off of the limit switch so I can continue working?

Are you able to install a newer version of Mach3? If you are worried that your configuration will be lost, you can save the configuration by copying all of the XML files from the Mach folder. The XML files contain all of the settings that you applied in Mach3. Just in case the XML files are not compatible with the new version, make sure not to erase the current Mach3 that you have on the machine.

However it how do I get the software to work? PlanetCNC sent me a key that looks like it will only work with a backup control board I purchased from them?
When you plug the USB controller into the computer using a USB cable, and the planet-cnc software is running, you will be presented with a dialog box that will contain a text box for the key that you received from the planet-cnc folks.

I have wired the step motors with the USB breakout board. When I jog the y axis it travels in the wrong direction. How do i switch the motors rotation?
For the USB controller and reversing the rotation for a motor, you would need to do this in the software (planet-cnc). In the configuration, you will need to reverse the direction by inverting the direction output.

Technically, the motor changes direction when the direction signal changes from a high to a low, or vice verse. For instance, the motor turns in one direction when the direction signal is, say, low. The motor will turn in the other direction when the direction signal is high. High is 5v and low is 0v or gnd.

Hello, I bought your 110v 2.2kw spindle and vfd. When I turn it on it reaches the full 24000 rpm, but will not let me decrease the speed. How Can I fix this?
Are you using the control panel (front panel with the speed control knob known as he potentiometer)? Or are you attempting to use the computer to control the speed?

Hello, I bought your 110v 2.2kw spindle and vfd. When I turn it on it reaches the full 24000 rpm, but will not let me decrease the speed. How Can I fix this?
Good morning, I would like to know if the strength of the 2.2kw spindle is weaker when using the 110V version of the VFD. Does it have the same power as the 220V version VFD?
The 2.2kW spindle will have the same amount of torque and strength using either the 110V or the 220V inverter. Nothing will significantly change in either application since the 110V inverter has a small step up transformer which will increase the voltage from 110V to 220V to run the spindle efficiently.

I'd like confirmation on this -- isn't there a cost in efficiency to having the 110v step up to 220v?

The simplest, and arguably the most certain, way is to wire the switch into the incoming power so that throwing the switch kills all power to every part of the machine. Yes, that is highly recommended for all the reasons you can imagine. Say you were doing engraving, not surfacing the spoilboard will either exhibit some areas that have no engraving at all, or areas that have engraving that is too deep. If you are cutting completely through the material, then one end may be cut all the way through but the other end will not have a complete cut, or produce onion skinning on the bottom of the workpiece.

The files and hardware option for our machines has been removed from the site due to the following reasons:
Difficulty for the end use of the files and the challenges (and time/money) on our side to assist in using these files.
The abuse of these files over the internet.
Ultimately may reduce the sales of machines keeping us in business.
Sadly, this is what has come out of our company attempting to be open; however, the machines sold on this site is still far lower in price than the competition for the quality that we provide as we have a great desire to engender the cottage industry to fulfill their need for low end manufacturing. When you are talking about relatys, that is all Greek to me. Will a breakout board do what I need to hook up to my drivers?
Connecting drivers from a controller to the driver does not require relays. A controller typically has pins or terminals for Step and Direction. These terminals connect to the driver's Pulse and Direction terminals. For instance for the X axis: if you are connecting from the Mach3 USB controller, you would connect the XD (X axis Direction) terminal to the Driver's DIR+ terminal, and the XP (X axis Pulse) to theDriver's PUL+ terminal, and the GND from the controller to the PUL- and DIR- terminals.
